1. 모든 것을 보시는 하나님 (삼상 16:1-23) God sees everything.
하나님은 마음을 보시기에 아무것도 감출 수 없음
To teach that God sees the heart and nothing can be hidden from Him.

2. 자기 백성을 구출 하시는 하나님 (삼상 17:1-53) God rescues His people.
하나님은 구출 하시는 하나님
To teach that God is a rescuing God.

3. 다윗, 하나님의 영으로 충만 함 (삼상 18:1-19:12) David filled with God’s Spirit.
하나님의 영이 사울을 떠나고, 다윗과 함께 하심
To show the deterioration of Saul’s relationship with David – God was with David
but had left Saul.
